About Us

The Cotgrave Club has been at the heart of the Cotgrave community since the 1960s. Originally established as a miners' welfare club, we've evolved over the decades to become a thriving community hub that welcomes people from all walks of life. Our history is deeply rooted in the local mining industry, but today we are a social club that serves the entire community, providing a space for connection, entertainment and growth.

Our club offers a range of facilities that cater to a variety of interests and events. From our expansive Main Hall, which boasts one of the largest stages in the East Midlands, to our cosy Lounge Bar, we have the perfect space for any occasion. The Main Hall can accommodate up to 500 people, making it ideal for large-scale events such as weddings, conferences, and stage productions. Meanwhile, our Lounge Bar is perfect for smaller gatherings, providing a comfortable setting for up to 120 guests.

Over the years, we have grown to host a diverse array of clubs and activities that bring the community together. Whether you're into fishing, darts, snooker, football, or dance, there's a club for you at The Cotgrave Club.

We also host regular events like bingo nights, live entertainment, and dance classes. Our aim is to provide a welcoming environment where everyone can find something they enjoy.

We are proud of our role as a central hub for Cotgrave. Our commitment to the community extends beyond our doors, as we also provide facilities for local events like the annual Cotgrave Festival and the Cotgrave Pocket Park and Ride Scheme. Our football pitches, family room, and snooker room are just some of the spaces that reflect our dedication to supporting local activities and events.
